New InnoWood furniture prototypes in focus
The project came up with 5 new products in addition to the 6 winning entries of the Furniture Industry Innovation Camp of 2018. All five pieces of furniture adapt to the winning entry works well and together they enforce a creative direction, both in material use and design.
Moreover, these five new project outputs do not focus on one market segment, since they include kids’ furniture, living room, bedroom or even office furniture.
HAPPY KIDS FURNITURES | Pouffe
This product line consists of upholstered seats of various forms, sizes and colours. The colours and forms are playful and kids friendly and they are educational at the same time.

The girl-, boy-, and unisex product lines are made of birch plywood and decorative boards of various colours. These chairs, storage elements and desks have a pop up part, the opening of which is enabled by aesthetic jam bands. Storage containers have 4 castors at the bottom for better mobility.
ANO | Coffee table
This product is interesting from the aspect of design mainly but it is innovative as far as material use is concerned, too. It is made of 4-mm Ceiba plywood and ash veneer while the horizontal surface is made of walnut. It is unique because from the front it looks like a reversed trapeze while from the top it resembles a parallelogram. On one side we can see a flowery pattern and inlays, its edges are rounded.
FROSTY | Bedside table
The unique design of this product is obvious at first glance because the bedside table looks like a reversed snowman from the front, or a trapeze if we want to compare it to a geometrical form. There is a drawer in the middle. This table is made of 4-mm Ceibe plywood, ash and walnut veneer and organoid raw materials pressed on textile. The later one strengthens the uniqueness of the product.
SC2 | Stackable cabinet
The elements of this stackable furniture are made of birch plywood, brown decorative boards and walnut veneer. Both individually and stacked on top of each other, they can be aesthetic elements of homes and offices. It is practical because it saves space, it looks modern but nature friendly at the same time due to its natural material use. A harmony of elements is created by the plywood parts occurring as material and structure in each element. In accordance with this the side boards and drawer elements have natural birch patterns while front elements (drawers and doors) are covered by walnut veneer.
