Several studies and research activities were carried\nout about potential technologies and consumer trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project members tried to make use of the cross-border position of the\nproject by building connections between Austrian and Hungarian business\nenterprises, educational institutions and students. Concerned parties had the\nopportunity to confront their opinions at six different events from February\nand their remarks were used to form the development directions \u2013 niche segments\n\u2013 of the Innovation Camp in May. It is impossible to define development\ndirections from the results during one workshop so there were six more meetings\nheld from the beginning of April for this purpose for students, lecturers and\nentrepreneurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of these meetings was for the participants to define the\nproblems to be solved in the furniture and wood architecture industry. Another\naim was to inform future mentors and mentees of the Innovation Camp about the\nresults of former workshops. Issues about functionality, design, vision were\nanalysed in connection with the products to be developed as well as the\nproblems they might solve in the furniture industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the 5-day Innovation Camp organized at the beginning of May and at\nthe end of September dozens of ideas were outlined by students, with the help\nof their mentors, and six out of these were used to prepare a prototype.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Study trips in 2018:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2018 March: One-day study trip \u2013\nSopron-Thomasberg (IKEA, F-List)<\/li><li>2018 April: Study trip to Finland, to\nstudy the activities of the Woodpolis Wood Industry Cluster<\/li><li>2018 April: Study trip to Milan \u2013\nvisiting CATAS quality management institutions, taking part in one of the\ngreatest wood industry fairs, the Salone Del Mobile, taking a look at the\nunique showrooms of Fourisalone<\/li><li>2018 June: Study trip to Upper Austria \u2013\ngetting an insight at the most innovative, most interesting wood industry\nenterprises in Upper Austria: Speedmaster GmbH, Altholz, SFK Tischler, Obermayr\nHolzkonstruktionen GmbH, Schachermayer GmbH, Roomle GmbH, MHC \u2013 Furniture and\nWood Architecture Cluster of Upper Austria, Steininger Designers GmbH, PANEUM \u2013\nWunderkammer des Brote.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-837","hirlevel","type-hirlevel","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/panfa.hu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/hirlevel\/837","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/panfa.hu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/hirlevel"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/panfa.hu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/hirlevel"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/panfa.hu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=837"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
